Doug Price, FSA, MAAA, President and CEO, is one of the original founding members of IAS.
Doug has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the life and health insurance industry, serving in several capacities to include actuarial consulting and administration and insurance company operations.
Mark Postove, ASA
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Mark Postove joined IAS in 1998 and currently serves as Executive Vice President. He has held a number of key roles during his tenure including COO and CIO. He was initially named Vice President in 2008 and then Senior Vice President in 2010. He has spent his entire career in the Insurance industry and has been involved in all aspects of the IAS TPA operation. In his current capacity, Mr. Postove is responsible for oversight of both operational and support areas of the company as well as managing the company’s strategic plan and analyzing its financial results.
Prior to joining IAS, Mr. Postove entered the life insurance industry in 1976 and worked at several life insurance companies and actuarial consulting firms. He was also an independent consultant and software developer, specializing in the design, development, and use of insurance administrative systems.
In addition to his experience, Mr. Postove has been an Associate of the Society of Actuaries since 1978. Mr. Postove earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Davidson College.
Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
David Carpenter joined IAS in 2006 and is Senior Vice President and serves as IAS’s Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Carpenter holds a number of additional responsibilities including management of the Applications area of the Information Technology Department comprised of IAS’s technical staff of programmers, analysts and designers.
Prior to joining IAS, Mr. Carpenter spent 14 years in the insurance industry in various management roles related to application development, document automation, customer service, and quality assurance.
Mr. Carpenter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University.
Darcey Signs joined IAS in 1996 and is Senior Vice President, overseeing the compliance of administrative operations, client relations, and Consumer Affairs. Her primary responsibilities are client management, TPA license renewals, TPA financial and annual reports, client reporting to state departments, monitoring regulatory developments, corporate insurance, product development, administrative form filings, premium rate filings, legal correspondence, and Consumer Affairs.
Prior to joining IAS, Ms. Signs worked 10 years for a large insurance company. In addition to her experience, she is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and an Associate, Customer Service. Ms. Signs earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Insurance from Illinois Wesleyan University.
Debra S. Tarascio, FLMI, ACS
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Debra Tarascio joined IAS in 1999 and is currently Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Before taking this role in 2019, Ms. Tarascio was the Director of New Business. In her current role, Ms. Tarascio is responsible for oversight of New Business, Policy Owner Services, Claims, Finance & Mail/Imaging Operations.
Prior to joining IAS, Ms. Tarascio spent 9 years working in scheduling, workflow analysis, and business procedures.
In addition to her experience, Ms. Tarascio is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and an Associate, Customer Service. Ms. Tarascio earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Production Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
Heather Bosley, FLMI, HIA, ACS, HCSA, AIAA, AIT
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CHANGE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Heather Bosley joined IAS in 2004 and is currently the Senior Vice President of Change Management Services. Before taking this role in 2019, Ms. Bosley was the Director of Policy Owner Services. In her current role, Ms. Bosley is responsible for the oversight of Project Management, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance functions.
Prior to joining IAS, Ms. Bosley spent 9 years in the insurance industry working in customer service, policy issue, agent licensing, commission accounting, business analysis, and quality testing.
In addition to her experience, Ms. Bosley is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute; a Health Insurance Associate; Associate Customer Service; Healthcare Customer Service Associate; Associate, Insurance Agency Administration; and Associate, Information Technology. Ms. Bosley earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
Tim Grooms, CMA, FLMI
Director of Finance
Tim Grooms joined IAS in 1989 as an Accounting Manager and is currently the Director of Finance overseeing all finance related areas within the company including Treasury, Premium and Commission Accounting, Reinsurance Administration and Financial Reporting. In addition to managing the finance team, Mr. Grooms oversees the Mailroom and Imaging operations.
Prior to joining IAS Mr. Grooms worked for an insurance company preparing premium tax filings and handling investment accounting for two different carriers. Prior to entering the insurance field Mr. Grooms worked a few years for a mapping company as an Assistant Manager producing various kinds of digital maps.
In addition to his experience, Mr. Grooms is a Certified Management Accountant and is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. Mr. Grooms earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from the University of South Florida.
Michelle Barrick, PMP
Director of Human Resources
Michelle Barrck joined IAS in 2016 as Director of Human Resources, managing Human Resources, Training and Reception.
Prior to joining IAS, Mrs. Barrick spent 20 years working in the Electronic Services Industry in Human Resources and a few years in Operations in a Project Management Office (PMO).
In addition to her experience, Mrs. Barrick is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Resources from Olivet Nazarene University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville, Kent School of Social Work.
Gary Cannaday, PMP
Director of Information Technology Systems
Gary Cannaday joined IAS in 2008 and is the Director of IT Systems, managing the Systems area of the Information Technology Department.
Prior to joining IAS, Mr. Cannaday spent over 25 years with various areas of IT infrastructure, including various management roles. In addition to his experience, he is a certified Project Management Professional.
Mr. Cannaday earned a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree in Computer Science from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree in Systems and Information Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Chief Financial Officer
Kali Anthony joined IAS in 1998, and has held several key roles in accounting over the past 17 years, including Senior Accountant, Controller and Director of Accounting. In her current role as CFO Mrs. Anthony leads the Corporate Accounting and Purchasing teams.
Prior to joining IAS Mrs. Anthony served in the United States Marine Corp as a Supply Administrative and Operations Specialist. In addition Mrs. Anthony worked as a Senior Accountant at a direct marketing company.
Mrs. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
Molly Wilkerson, ACS
Director of New Business
Molly Wilkerson joined IAS in 2005 and is the Director of New Business, managing the application processing, underwriting and policy issue operations for Medicare Supplement, Cancer and Supplemental insurance products. Molly has fulfilled multiple roles at IAS over the last 15 years including Underwriting Support, Underwriting Team Lead, Underwriting Supervisor, New Business Project Coordinator and most recently New Business Manager.
Prior to joining IAS, Molly spent 6 years working for an insurance company and an insurance agent who specialized in selling Senior insurance products.
In addition to her experience, Ms. Wilkerson is an Associate, Customer Service.
Randy Doyon, FLMI, ACS
Director of Policy Owner Services
Randy Doyon joined IAS in 2006 and is currently the Director of Policy Owner Services. Mr. Doyon manages the teams that provide customer service for our Health, Life and Long Term Care Policy Owners. Mr. Doyon has held several key roles in the customer service area to include Policy Owner Service Manager, Lead Supervisor of Life Claims and Policy Owner Services, Supervisor of Life Policy Owner Services and Team Lead of Life Policy Owner Services.
Prior to joining IAS, Mr. Doyon spent 17 years as a Customer Service Supervisor for a Cable TV company in NH.
In addition to his experience, Mr. Doyon is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and an Associate, Customer Service.
Director of Claims
Sue Schmidt joined IAS in 1999 and is the Director of Claims, managing the operations of our Medicare Supplement, Cancer, Accident & Health and Indemnity Insurance products.
Prior to joining IAS, Ms. Schmidt spent 20 years in the insurance industry working in various management roles, for a third party administrator and a large insurance company with experience in group Major Medical, PPO and dental insurance claims administration for their state account operations and national major accounts. Ms. Schmidt’s areas of expertise include inventory management and project consulting for product conversions with a focus on daily health claims operations, with proven results.
